1. Introduction

Welcome to Soundlizer. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application (Soundlizer), desktop companion app (Soundlizer Connect), and website (www.soundlizer.com). By using any of these services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Use of the Service

You may use the Soundlizer apps and website solely for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the services, attempt unauthorized access, reverse-engineer, or interfere with their operation.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

The mobile app may offer paid features through in-app subscriptions handled securely via Google Play. All billing and subscription management is performed by Google. We do not collect, access, or store any payment or billing information.

4. Audio and Data Handling

The Soundlizer mobile and desktop apps may process audio output or microphone input on your device to generate visualizations. Metadata (such as song title, artist, and album art) may also be accessed when available. All processing occurs locally and is never transmitted to our servers.

5. External Image Sources

The app may display or download images retrieved from external image services via our intermediary API. These images are provided "as is" and are subject to the terms and licenses of their original providers.

We do not claim ownership over these images and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, legality, or appropriateness. You acknowledge that such content may be subject to third-party copyright.

6. Local Storage

The mobile app stores templates, visual assets, and configuration files locally on your device. This data is used to support core functionality and is not shared externally. You may clear this data at any time via your device settings.

7. User Content (Templates)

The mobile app may allow users to create, modify, and store visual templates ("User Content") on their devices. These templates remain the intellectual property of the user who created them.

If the app allows sharing of templates or other content with other users or through online features, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute your submitted content solely for the purpose of providing the functionality of the app.

You are solely responsible for your content. You agree not to upload or share any content that is unlawful, harmful, offensive, or that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

We reserve the right (but not the obligation) to review or remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

8. Intellectual Property

All content and code in Soundlizer and Soundlizer Connect, including visualizations, graphics, and software, are the intellectual property of their respective creators. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the apps or website without explicit permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

The services are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted performance, accuracy of visualizations, or compatibility with all devices or operating systems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any part of the service at our discretion, especially in the case of misuse, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the services after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Third-Party Libraries

The app may include open-source components or third-party libraries that are governed by their respective licenses. We are not responsible for any third-party code outside of our direct control.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
